Even dedicated to her sick husband, Clara will not fail to think of Marina. In the chapter on" Em Familia" the wife of Cadu will all appear affectionate with the chef, but soon she 'll miss the photographer when she sees her on a magazine cover.

By inserting an unprecedented flashback, the two appear choosing a photo for publication. Soon after, they will appear dancing, lovingly and with closed eyes, they will pull the lips on the neck of one another. When writing the flashback, the author Manoel Carlos asked that the scene was "beautiful, without forcing and with a lot of class."

After the memory of Clara, Cadu will search for Marina to get satisfactions. "What's up with my wife?, Ask the chef. The photographer will not lower his head and the two will discuss. He then will evil and, desperate, Marina will call Clara.

However, Cadu will leave the studio without being seen, before his wife arrives. When he gets home, Clara wants to take him to the hospital, but he does not want it. "Gosh, Cadu, why you are so hard to me. What did I do?" She asks nervously.
