Spoiler 92: Clara lets off steam about her sexuality: 'There are many people who are ready to stone me'

Gradually, Clara will understand more about their sexuality and what it means loving another woman these
days. In the next chapters of "Em Familia", she makes this clear in a conversation with Virgilio.

The two talked about the reaction of the sculptor about the wedding of Luiza with Laerte. (note by Bia: Laerte was ex-fiance of Helena and was a very young troublemaker)

- "Why not let her live that dream? She wants a lot! And no one can guarantee that it will not work"she says, trying to convince the brother in law.

But he is pessimistic:
- "It has everything to go wrong. The history proves that."

Clara thinks the contrary:
- "The history proves nothing! Who can guarantee that errors will always repeat? Or who can ensure that people don't change, they are always the same, year after year? In this case there are more than twenty years! If Helena changed, if you change, if all we went through transformations, why Laerte is equal to or worse?".

They look for each other and she lets off steam:
- "I know what I'm talking about. Maybe I'm the person who has changed more in our entire family. Often, everybody look at me as if I were a rare animal without equal, anywhere! And why? Because I became interested in another woman! Some people accept me, admire me and others to envy me, but a lot of people who are ready to stone me. Beat me. And throw my bones to the dogs. One day someone told me that a woman loving another woman, sexually, is to sin against human nature. A man and a woman form a couple. Two women or two men form a double immoral. Terrible example for the youth."

Virgilio argues:
- "But I never thought so".

But Clara stands firm:
- "I know. Almost everyone accepts it in the other family, but if you ask if they would like to have a lesbian daughter or a gay son, they jump right out: 'Oh no! My son, no!'."
